Yes. βΉ19,000 covers the 5-day training programme, all simulator sessions, field flying time, study materials, and DGCA exam preparation. The DGCA examination fee is separate and paid directly to DGCA via the Digital Sky portal. We guide you through that process.
No. The course is designed for beginners. You start with simulator training before touching a real drone. However, if you already have some flying hours, the simulator days will feel easier and you'll spend more quality time on field manoeuvres. Either way, you get the same curriculum.
DroneAcad is a DGCA-authorised RPTO (Remote Pilot Training Organisation) with authorisation number RPTO202500079. The Remote Pilot Certificate is issued by DGCA through the Digital Sky portal β it is a government document, not a DroneAcad certificate. You can verify our RPTO status directly on the DGCA website.
Typically 2β4 weeks after completing training, depending on how quickly you clear the DGCA theory exam and the Digital Sky application is processed. We help you initiate the application before you leave on Day 5 so there's no delay in getting started.
Valid passport (mandatory for DGCA application), Aadhaar card, SSLC certificate, and PAN card. A basic medical certificate (vision, blood pressure, diabetes check from any registered MBBS doctor) is also required. We'll send you the full document checklist when you confirm enrollment.
